Le Guide Hachette Des Vins ger Chateau de Rousse tre stjärnor i senaste guiden!

Förra veckan lanserade vi Chateau de Rousse och vinet fick direkt vid lansering ett flertal fina omdömmen från våra svenska journalister. Nu fick vi precis veta att en av världens mest förnämsta vinguider, i klass med Guide Michelin fast för vin, gett samma vin hela tre stjärnor vilket är det högsta betyg denna guide ger!

Chateau de Rousse brukar prestera bra i guiden, men denna årgång är exceptionellt bra och lovar även en härlig framtid för den som lagrar vinet!

Med följande motivation gavs tre stjärnor:

The winemaker :

Domain of 10.5 ha led since 2000 by the brothers Marc and Olivier Labat. Cultivated in narrow terraces, the south-south-east facing vineyards are arranged in an amphitheater, with the Pyrenees in the background. Henry IV came there to hunt.

The opinion of Hachette Wine Guide :

From vintage to vintage, seduction operates. The stars, this vintage often gets them in pairs, and this 2016 gets a new mention : « favourite ». His ”recipe” adapts to the year: from the small manseng, always harvested this year at a very late date, December 6, then vinified and aged twelve months in oak barrels with riddling of lees. The color is intense golden; perfumes rise to power with aeration, passing flowers with exotic fruits, quince and buttered and subtly toasted shades of the breeding. On the palate, this wine stands out due to the maturity of its fruit, the richness of its liquor, its finesse and freshness, as well as the delicacy of aging. Already excellent, it will age gracefully.
